NdFeB magnet
|
| Neodymium(Nd)-Iron(Fe)-Boron(B) is the third generation of Rare Earth Magnet, it is the most powerful magnet in the world at present, its maximum energy product is up to 48 MGOe. Due to its excellent performance and reasonable price, it has been developed rapidly and widely applied to motor, permanent magnet meter, electronic industry, automobile industry, oil industry, acoustics equipment, magnetic suspension system and so on. |
 |
Sintered NdFeB is very easy to be rusted and oxidated in the air, so the surface treatments is necessary in order to hold close mechanical tolerances , such as: Zine coating, Nickel coating, Gold coating, electrophoretic coating, epoxy resin coating, passivation (temporary surface) etc. |

Bonded NdFeB magnets made by Rapidly Quenched NdFeB magnetic powders have better mechanical properties and higher precision. These magnets are easier to use and are good candidates for the magnetic parts with complex shapes used in many applications, such as computers, instruments, automobiles and medical devices. |
 |
Bonded NdFeB magnets also have the following advantages:
The bond NdFeB magnets can be produced with close tolerances off tool, with little or no finishing required.
High magnetic output is coupled with excellent physical strength.
Molded magnets are more chip resistant than other types making handling easier on production assembly lines.
The binders and magnetic alloys utilized are capable of a wide range of application temperatures from below -40¡ãC to above 180¡ãC.
